Hlavní charakteristikou teleskopu Sky Horizon Travel 70 je jeho zkrácený optický tubus. Je téměř poloviční oproti většině tubusů refraktorů. Díky tomu si jej můžete pohodlně vzít všude s sebou – nezabírá moc místa. Navíc není těžký – design teleskopu má nízkou hmotnost. S montáží se snadno manipuluje a bez problémů ji dokáže smontovat dokonce i začátečník. Pro namíření teleskopu na požadovaný objekt nebeské sféry musíte pouze otočit tubus kolem výškové nebo azimutální osy. Stativ je vyroben z lehkého hliníku a má nastavitelnou výšku.
